Cold Dark North: Dentish Appointment - 27th or 28th February 2014
Final date (27th or 28th) is weather dependent and will be announced by 18th February. This new 100km route taking on the “best” of each of the five ways into and out of the Dent Valley goes up the stabby climbs of Dent Hent Viaduct, The Coal Road, White Shaw Moss, Barbondale and “the other one that isn’t a climb at all”. The Dent-ish Appointment is a lumpy 100km early season “unReliability Ride” with over 1,500m of ascent (and four big climbs). Everyone is welcome, it’s a free, self-supported ride. We’ll be riding in small groups to suit the people that come along. And there are Cafes.
