Rec group

The Recreation Group (REC Group) is designed for cyclists who are looking for a leisurely, sociable, morning ride with friends. We typically cover 24 to 48 km (15 to 30 miles) including a café stop.   We welcome electric bikes and most of our current riders are on electric bikes.  The group is a roughly equal mixture of men and women.

Rec group rides are on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month in 2024 and we normally meet at Burton sports pavilion at 9.30.  The provisional details of this year's planned rides are listed below (updates communicated by WhatsApp).  Use the REC WhatsApp group to let others know if you are going to join us.
